A nice post here on IT and LEAN.
I have a few comments around LEAN and ITSM, I think they will take a full post... however as a taster:
I think that LEAN as espoused by Chris Curran in his post is a useful tool and becoming a LEAN organisation is something I can understand having benefits, but here is my question:
Shouldn't ITIL already be LEAN? if these really are the "best practices" shouldn't that encompass organisations that have gone LEAN?
I understand LEAN is a culture not a bunch of tools, ITSM should be to a certain extent too, do we really need to LEAN our ITIL?
Thoughts?
